Go to https://blackboard.stonybrook.edu/
Click User Logi and enter NetID username & password
Click on the top tab Courses
Enter SoM Annual HIPAA in the Course Search box click go
Select the course titled SoM- Annual-HIPAA-Compliance-Training then click the arrow after the course name and select Enroll
Click Submit and OK to complete the self-enrollment

The instructions for the course are found under the Information tab and the course content is found under the Content tab.
PLEASE PRINT OUT CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND GIVE IT TO YOUR ADMINISTRATOR FOR YOUR SCHOOL

All Stony Brook University Health Sciences Faculty, Staff, and Students are required to master a minimum proficiency in HIPAA regulations. You are about to enter a web-based presentation that will allow you to obtain a basic training of Stony Brook Hipaa Compliance Training. Please read each page completely and in sequential order. When you are finished, click on the "Submit" button.

If you wish to keep a printed copy of the complete training document, you may download the PDF file at any time from your profile page.
